Enable QR codes globally
Global settings are applied throughout your entire organization.
Enable or disable QR codes
To enable your users to check availability, book, and check in to a booking using a QR code, the setting must be globally enabled for your configuration.
Follow the steps below to enable or disable QR codes for your organization.
- Navigate to Advanced setup > Global setup.
- Select the Application tab and scroll down to the two options for QR code check-in.
- Tick QR code book and check-in to enable.
- Tick Allow check-in on web when QR enabled to allow users to also check in from Eptura Engage on the web when all other check-in options are disabled for a resource, Learn more: Allow check-in via QR code only
- Click Save after making any changes.
A QR code field is now displayed in Resource admin for personal space and meeting space resources. If a QR code value exists for a resource, then the QR code can be scanned to check-in or check availability and book a space.
