Configuration and setup

Configuration icon.pngApplication setup

The Application Setup guide provides step-by-step instructions for configuring your Eptura Engage workspace booking solution. Use it for general reference when developing and modifying Eptura Engage, and as a workflow when creating new locations and groups, etc.

User authentication

Read about multiple identity providers, SSO configuration, Okta and Eptura Engage, AD FS integration, and passwordless authentication for the Eptura Engage mobile app.

Bulk data upload

Eptura Engage can upload your location and resource data in bulk from the Data Collection Sheet (DCS). The DCS is an Excel workbook containing several tabs that must be completed fully and accurately to ensure a successful upload. Eptura Engage can also upload user data from the User Data Collection (UDC) spreadsheet. Location data must already exist in your Eptura Engage Cloud before uploading user data so we recommend uploading your location and resource data first.

Integrations

Integration icon.pngMicrosoft 365

If your organization uses Microsoft 365 we recommend enhancing your Eptura Engage booking solution with our Microsoft 365 integration.

When you integrate Eptura Engage’s feature-rich workspace booking software with Microsoft 365, you can book meeting spaces directly from a Microsoft Outlook appointment or a Microsoft Teams chat, channel, or meeting. Using Microsoft Teams you can also book personal spaces and choose and share your in-office schedule with your colleagues.

Microsoft Intune

Eptura Engage supports Microsoft Intune policies, enabling you to strengthen security by creating policies to secure the data stored in the Eptura Engage mobile app and control how Eptura Engage is used. Intune policies can be applied to both your organizational mobile devices and employees’ BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) equipment.

Eptura Visitor

Eptura Visitor (formally Proxyclick) is a cloud-based visitor management solution that provides a single interface to manage employees and visitors to your workplace, while improving security, efficiency, and compliance. Real-time occupancy and utilization data can be analyzed with Eptura Engage Analytics.

Automated check-in via ACS

Eptura Engage can utilize badge swipe data at the point of building entry to track employee presence and check in to booked workspaces, providing a seamless check-in experience.

Occupancy Sensors

Integrate Eptura Engage Sensor Integration with your occupancy sensors to automate booking behavior in your workplace and provide accurate information about space availability and occupancy. Support agile working, and make space booking easier and more efficient for your employees.

Eptura Engage Sensor Integration seamlessly integrates with your occupancy sensors to capture real-time active data, making sure space availability is based on actual usage.

Eptura Engage API services

The Eptura Engage API service provides a means of communication between Eptura Engage and third-party systems. For example, you might want to integrate your Eptura Engage application with your visitor management system or a system that manages cost codes. The Eptura Engage API allows developers to build powerful and feature-rich integrations between third-party systems and the Eptura Engage Application.

Eptura Engage SCIM API

The Eptura Engage SCIM compliant API enables communication with SCIM compatible systems providing user identity information, such as Azure Active Directory.
