We resolved an issue that prevented bookings from being created in Eptura Engage, when a user whose calendar was not yet subscribed added an Exchange room to a single instance of a recurring event. |
|
IN-21559 |
Updating the title of a single instance of a recurring booking in Eptura Engage when an Exchange room was invited, caused the Exchange room to be removed from the Microsoft calendar event. This has been fixed. |
|
IN-21552 |
When a single instance of a recurring booking was moved to a time where the chosen meeting space was unavailable, the email notification that informs the user of the alternate meeting space booking, was not being sent. We have now fixed this issue and the notification email is now sent. |

Improved support for existing bookings when mapping Exchange rooms
The initial synchronization process that runs when a Microsoft Exchange room is mapped with an Eptura Engage meeting space resource, now supports existing bookings in Eptura Engage where the associated Microsoft calendar event does not have an Exchange room mailbox assigned. Now, when an Exchange room is mapped to the Eptura Engage resource, the Exchange room mailbox is added as an attendee on the event, which ensures the rooms are correctly synchronized.
As this process updates the user's calendar event, Microsoft Outlook will send an update notification to all attendees included on the Outlook event.
Improved auto-cancellation support for third-party devices
When third-party room screens are connected to Microsoft Exchange and a booking is not checked in from the screen at any point between the start and end time of the event, in some circumstances, the screen might decline the booking and then the event is removed from Exchange. When this occurs, the bookings are now also removed from Eptura Engage.
Only events that are declined between the start and end time of an event, are removed from Eptura Engage.

We fixed an issue that caused an Exchange room invite to be incorrectly flagged as a conflict even when there was availability, which resulted in the Eptura Engage booking to be created in a secondary room. |
|
IN-20968 |
When a recurring booking was created from Eptura Engage, and conflicts existed where there were no alternative resources available, the recurring booking was incorrectly saved in Microsoft Outlook as a daily recurrence. Now all supported* Eptura Engage recurring booking patterns are correctly saved in Outlook in the same recurrence pattern. *Eptura Engage custom recurrences are not supported by the Microsoft 365 integration. |
