Introduction to the Eptura Engage API Service

The Eptura Engage API service provides a means of communication between Eptura Engage and 3rd party systems. For example, you may want to integrate your Eptura Engage application with your visitor management system or a system that manages cost codes. The Eptura Engage API allows developers to build powerful and feature-rich integrations between 3rd party systems and the Eptura Engage Application.

The Eptura Engage API is RESTful and utilises JSON. The HTTPS protocol is used for communication.

In addition, to help create efficient and truly scalable integrations, several ‘Notification’ services can also be utilized. The notification services are important when creating integrations that need up-to-date (near real-time) data without making excessive and unnecessary calls (polling) against a live Eptura Engage instance.
