Check-in via Eptura Visitor Access Control

Eptura Engage check-in via Eptura Visitor Access Control

The Eptura Engage (formally Condeco) + Eptura Visitor (formally Proxyclick) integration utilizes badge swipe data at the point of building entry to track employee presence and check in to booked workspaces, providing a seamless lobby experience.

For workplace strategists, this can improve the accuracy of occupancy and utilization analytics, enabling a more effective measurement for in-office strategy and long-term space requirements

How it works

With Eptura Visitor Access Control integrated, an employee with a personal space booking in Eptura Engage is automatically checked in to the workspace when they swipe their badge at the card reader. The process is as follows:

  1. Eptura Engage: Employee has a personal space booking today.
  2. Access Control System: Employee enters the building and swipes their badge on the card reader. The Access Control System detects the swipe or scan event.
  3. Eptura Visitor: Captures data from the badge swipe and marks the employee's status as 'Checked-in'. Eptura Visitor passes the employee status to Eptura Engage.
  4. Eptura Engage: Receives the status update from Eptura Visitor and checks in the employee to their booked personal space. The employee's status changes to show they are in the workplace.

If Intelligent booking is enabled and a personal space is not already booked, Eptura Engage intelligently books a space for the employee using learned behavior. Learn more: ✨Intelligent booking.
