Book a personal space for someone else
Book a personal space for a colleague or someone outside your organization, from the web app. From the mobile app, you can book a personal space for a colleague, but you cannot book for a visitor.
Good to know
- Your organization must enable the option to book for someone else. Learn more (admins): Global settings for personal spaces
- Only the person the space is being booked for needs the appropriate access to that space; the person making the booking does not. However, when booking on behalf of a visitor, the person creating the booking can only select spaces that they themselves have access to.
- The option to 'Book for someone else' is hidden if the booking group is set to 'Prevent Specific Space Requests'. Learn more (admins): Group adminstration
- Bookings for visitors can only be made from Eptura Engage on the web (not the Eptura Engage mobile app).
- If self-certification is enabled for the location, you cannot make a booking for someone else for the current day. This is because the user must self-certify when the booking is made. Learn more: Self-certification when visiting the workplace
