How to Change a Requester to a CMMS User and Vice Versa

Learn about How to Change a Requester to a CMMS User and Vice Versa.

Note: This does not apply to clients that have User based Hippo contracts. For those of you that have limits to Users and Requesters, we suggest you delete the User or Requester information and start again on the correct User or Requester grid.

Steps - Requester to User

  1. From the Requester grid, click on the key icon next to the name to open the Edit Permission form.
  2. On the Requester page of the form put a check in the box next to CMMS.
    Once you hit Save the name is listed on the User grid. You can add/edit permissions from there.

Steps - User to Requester

  1. From the User grid, click on the key icon next to the name to open the Edit Permission form.
  2. Remove the CMMS access permission found on General Page.
    Once you hit Save the name is listed on the Requester grid.

  3. From the Requester grid, click on the key icon next to the name to open the Edit Permission form.
  4. Click on the Facility page and put a check in the box next to Can Submit Work Order Request.
  5. Hit Save.
