Set up the Summary screen

The Summary screen adds an option at the end of the kiosk check-in process, allowing the visitor to review their information before completing the check-in. It can also allow the visitor to request a permanent pass to use for future check-ins.

To enable the Summary screen:

  1. Sign in to Eptura Visitor and open Settings > Visitors > Configure kiosk > Summary.
  2. Click the Summary screen toggle to ON to allow the visitor to review their information before completing the check-in.
Permanent Pass (QR code)

For regular visitors that don't keep a set schedule or need visits arranged in advance - IT, contractors, delivery couriers, etc. - it can be useful to provide a permanent QR code that they can use to check in. The regular visitor can scan the QR code and automatically populate their details when checking in.

To display the option to request a permanent pass on the kiosk, the Visitors can ask for a scannable permanent pass that saves their answers option must be enabled for the Summary screen.

  1. Sign in to Eptura Visitor and open Settings > Visitors > Configure kiosk > Summary.
  2. Enable the Summary screen and tick Visitors can ask for a scannable permanent pass that saves their answers.

To request a permanent QR code, the visitor must first check in at the kiosk. At the end of the check in process, they can tap the option to request a permanent pass. The QR code is then sent to their email address.
