AMAG Symmetry - Eptura Visitor Client Setup

  1. Ensure the AMAG Symmetry configuration is finalized
  2. Follow the installation and networking steps in the Access Control Overview - Deployment Requirements and Client Setup sections.
  3. Install the Eptura Visitor AMAG Client and connect to AMAG Symmetry - A local installation is possible and you can connect the Eptura Visitor Client by entering "local host" and the port in the AMAG Location box. Example: https://localhost/smsXMLWebService/smsXMLWebService.svc - If installing the client to a different PC, you replace “localhost” with the path to the server itself.
  4. An AMAG user account with sufficient permissions must be entered in the Client software to authenticate the connection
  5. The client should display successful, green, entries for both the connection to AMAG and also under the Network section - If any red entries are displayed you will need to diagnose the cause of the problem before you proceed
  6. After only green entries are displayed, Share the Subscription ID and Thumbprint displayed in the access client with the access control team
  7. To be executed by Eptura Visitor staff: Gather required setup information - should be shared in advance - we will use this info to ensure the setup matches your requirements
  8. To be executed by Eptura Visitor staff: Configure the Eptura Visitor to ACS setup and create access groups
  9. Ensure the created access codes are set up with the correct access permissions for the visitor flows.
