Update: Book Eptura Engage spaces directly from a visit

Status: Expected July 2026

Book personal and meeting spaces for visitors directly from Visitor when creating or editing a visit.

We're adding a new email notification that can automatically be sent to a visitor after their visit. The new post-visit email can be sent at a specified number of hours after the visitor checks out.

Update: More customization for email invitations

Status: 🚀Released 2026 June Eptura Visitor Product Release

We're adding the ability to further personalize your Visitor Invitation emails by selecting your preferred font and font color, and adding images with embedded links. You will also be able to hide any of the movable sections.

Update: Automate your Visitor Logbook exports

Status: Expected July 2026

Automated Reporting will allow users to schedule logbook exports with defined parameters, so reports are generated and delivered by email automatically on a set schedule.

Update: Dual Access Control System (ACS) connections

Status: Expected H2 2026

With Dual ACS connections, you can link a single Eptura Visitor location to two ACS extenders. This enables seamless and automated visitor access at both a lobby and an internal space - even when they use different access control systems - through a single QR code and shared access tokens.

Update: Visitor Types enhancements

Status: Expected July 2026

  • Visitor Types, such as guest, contractor, employee, and customer, will be available to set for your visitors when creating group visits. 
  • Different check-in and remote registration journeys per visitor type.
  • Enable/disable invitation emails for specific visitor types.
  • Enable or disable the new post-visit email for each visitor type.

Update: Global Admin Dashboard enhancements 

Status: Expected July 2026

  • The Audit log will store more information about changes made via the Global Admin Dashboard
  • Location grouping allows changes to be made to a specific group of locations.
  • Duplicate the check-in and remote registration templates.
  • Override the default locked state for settings sent to multiple locations so they can also be configured locally.

Update: Facial Recognition Check-in

Status: Early access available. Contact Support for more information.

Facial Recognition Check-in enables a touchless check-in at the kiosk for visitors who have authorized their photograph to be used for identification.
