Printing via Proxy

About printing via proxy

If your printers do not support Apple Airprint or the Brother SDK, you can print from the Visitor kiosk via the Proxyclick Print Proxy software installed on a PC connected to the printer. This method is supported by both the Android and iPad Visitor kiosks.

What is 'Proxyclick'? Proxyclick is the former name of the Eptura Visitor product. For continuity, some elements of the application retain the original product name.

Examples of printers that can be connected via the Proxyclick Print Proxy include:

  • Zebra QL ZXP Series1 (prints in color on plastic badges)
  • Evolis Primacy (prints in color on plastic badges)
  • Dymo LabelWriter 450 (or 450 Turbo)
How does it work?

A Windows PC with the Proxyclick Print Proxy installed, acts as the bridge between the Visitor Kiosk and the printer.

  • Be on the same network as the kiosk.
  • Have a fixed IP address.
  • Ports 50080 and 50443 must be available.
