Card holder groups

Proxyclick will create and maintain the specific card holder groups within Genetec. Five groups will be created, Expected, On-site, Checked-in, Checked-out and No Access. If multi-tenant features are desired, a company specific card holder group can be created; the name would reflect the name of the tenant location in Proxyclick. A change to these groups can be made as the mapping is based on the underling unique identifier in Genetec, but unexpected behavior can occur without visibility, such as Proxyclick creating a new card holder group with the original name. Adjusting the Card Holder group to be not available for visitors will cause duplicate entries to be created. Proxyclick’s integration will clean them up after their original expiration date.

Visitors

Proxyclick will create, update and delete visitors in Genetec. By default, a visitor will be added as no-access 7 days before a meeting starts and placed in the Expected group 2 hours before the scheduled meeting time. The visitor is then placed in the appropriate access group based on their status in Proxyclick - please see the Access Control Integration Overview document for further details. All these time settings can be modified, as well as the behaviour when a visitor should be placed into the Expected card holder group.

Credential formats

Proxyclick will read credential formats to ensure the correct credential format is present.

Credentials

Proxyclick will add and remove credentials to the visitor profiles.

Access points

Proxyclick will read your access points to ensure correct directions are used for location check-ins

Card holder activity

Proxyclick reads card holder activity and filters this for it’s visitors to allow access check-ins and access check-outs

Doors

Proxyclick will read your doors to ensure correct names are used for location check-ins

Partitions

Proxyclick will read your partitions to enable partition based logic.

Servers

Proxyclick will read your servers to ensure we’re version compatible and allow smooth upgrade processes.
