Nedap AEOS - Notes

"Host Email as Contact" feature

Assigning a "Contact" in AEOS means that there is another AEOS user (the host) that needs to gain entry within a set timeframe before a visitor may enter. It's simple dual-authentication. In practice, this feature means you can set the host as the Contact for the visitor and the host then has to meet them and swipe before the visitor in order for the visitor to be granted access.

Custom Field Limitations

In AEOS there is a limit to 150 characters for Template names.

If using our custom access level functionality this will need to be kept in mind as we would append the custom field info from Proxyclick to create a custom access level in AEOS: if the overall group name is then too long this will cause an error.

We have reduced the length of our Template names to help accommodate this:

"Proxyclick - checked-in" is listed as "PXC checked-in"
