Install multiple kiosks in one location

When is it useful to have more than one kiosk?

Adding multiple kiosks is useful in two situations:

  • A high volume of visitors (to distribute the volume over more than one kiosk).
    * on average, we recommend one kiosk for every 30 guests checking in per hour.

  • Different entrances to the building (to inform the host and reception about where the visitor checked in).

Steps to add another kiosk


  1. Go to Settings > Visitors > Kiosk list.
  2. Click on the Add new icon.

  3. In the Kiosk name field, enter the kiosk's name. The Kiosk name will help you select the correct kiosk when you activate it and to track the status.
  4. In the Entrance name field, enter the entrance's name. The Entrance name will be shown to the hosts (in the check-in notification) so they know where to pick up their visitor and to the reception (in the Logbook).
  5. Click on the Save button.

When you use multiple kiosks, make sure that a different one is activated on each device.
