Activate or Deactive a Desk Screen

Before you activate a Desk Screen, make sure you have the physical devices ready. 

Physical Desk Screen Set Up

The physical devices are the Desk Booking Screen v3 and for details, see Desk Booking Screens | Eptura Engage Knowledge Center.

Activate


  1. On the device - power up the screen and it retrieves the activation code from the Device Hub.
  2. From the menu, select Device Management > Desks & screen and rooms display in a list.
  3. Use the filters to help you find the device you want.
  4. For the device you want to activate, click the Activate button and the Activation Code displays.

  1. For instructions on how to power up the Desk Booking Screen, set up the locale, and Wi-Fi access, see Manually set up a desk booking screen | Eptura Engage Knowledge Center.
  2. When prompted, enter the activation code in the device.
  3. Then in the Device Hub enter the confirmation code shown on the device and then click the Activate button. 
  4. When the code is checked and accepted on the desk booking screen, tap Activate this device.
  5. When the device is activated, tap Next.

Your desk booking screen is now activated and is ready for use.

Now that you have activated the screen, here is what your employees will experience. 

Deactivate


  1. From the menu, select Device Management > Desks & Screens and rooms display in a list.
  2. Use the filters to help you find the device you want.
  3. For the device you want to deactivate, click the Deactivate button and the Deactivate desk dialog displays he message "Are you sure you want to deactivate this desk? This will reset any associated desk screen.
  4. Click the Deactivate button and the desk is successfully reset.
