Add, Edit, or Delete Subsite

 

Add a Subsite


After you have created a (A) site, you are ready to (b) add a subsite.

  1. Click the + Add Subsite button.

  1. Complete the fields, see below for the Subsite Fields.
  2. Click the Save button.

Edit a Subsite


  1. Use the All Locations hierarchy to navigate to the site and the buildings display in the list.
  2. Click the subsites tab.
  3. For the subsite you want to edit, click the subsite name and the Edit Subsite form displays.
  4. Complete the fields, and see the table below for the Subsite Fields.
  5. Click the Save button.

Delete a Subsite


  1. Use the All Locations hierarchy to navigate to the subsite.
  2. For the subsite you want to edit, click the subsite name.
  3. Click the Edit Subsite and the Subsite Site form displays.
  4. Click the Delete and the message displays "Delete this subsite? When you delete this subsite, we retain only historical data for reporting and you can’t undo it. Do you want to continue?"
  5. Click the Delete button.

Subsite Fields


Overview Tab

Fields Description
Subsite Name Enter the name of the subsite.
Subsite Type Select the type of subsite from the default list.
Description Enter the short description of the subsite.

 

Specs Tab

Fields Description
Subsite Area (measurement system) Enter the subsite area.

More Tab

Fields Description
Use Site Operating Hours If you want the building to inherit the operating hours from the site, then check the Use Site Operating Hours check box.
Add Operating Hours

If you want different operating hours for the building, then complete the following:

  1. Click the Add Operating Hours button and the Edit Building Operating Hours dialog displays.

  1. Click the day toggle to display the fields.

  1. From the Time Days Starts drop-down, select the start time.
  2. From the Time Days Ends drop-down, select the end time.
  3. Click the Done button.
