Knowledge Level Label - Only included the label when you need your reader to quickly identify an article that is written for particular roles and/or expertise.

Articles can start with a lead in sentence or paragraph to explain the purpose and benefit of the feature. If you have a video of the instructions this can be included and then you include the written instructions.

Heading 1


Heading 2

This is an example of heading 1 and heading 2 next to each other. In this example, there is a line under the heading mocked-up with an underline. The line can be insert via:

  1. Where you have the Heading 1 text, click the end of line to position your cursor.
  2. From menu, click Elements > Insert horizontal line.
  3. Additionally, this is an example of the List Number style.

Heading 3

This is an example of a heading 3.

Heading 4

This is an example of a heading 4.

Below is the example of the list bullet style:

Heading 2

Below is an example of a table style.

Steps (Heading 1)


If you have multiple steps in a procedure then use the Step heading and then use the format below to describe the steps and instructions.

If you want to include a lead in sentence.

Step 1. (Heading 2)

  1. Numbered list for instructions.

Step 1.1 (Heading 3)

If you want to include a lead in sentence.

  1. Numbered list for instructions.
  2. Numbered list for instructions.

Step 1.2 (Heading 3)

Label Styles

Below are example the label styles which can be used when you need to highlight information.

Warning

Use the Style called Serraview Concept (sorry this was meant to be Concept) if you need to highlight to the reader a concept.

Use the Style called Secured Action to highlight to the reader any roles and permission that relate to the feature.

Use the Style called Tips to highlight a tips to  the reader. This is useful when you have reports that have any tips or variations.

Use the Style called Configuration to highlight to the reader a function or field can be altered in the configuration. 

Remember to include about 3 blank lines at the end of the article. This makes sure there is some distance between the end of the article the Previous Article and the Next Article navigation.
